I can't begin to recount all of the times Microsoft applications have failed to play nicely together. Is this carelessness on the part of the MS project teams or an indication of the unnecessary complexity of the programs and the OS? Probably some of both. Unfortunately I’m pretty locked into XP at home but at work I’m moving to the Mac. Except on vacation travels I take a ubuntu laptop for games, mind mapping, writing and photo editing.
