Greetings fellow star-gazers! This is my astronomy pathfinder where I confirm that yes, I am truly ‘that’ much of a nerd. I received my first telescope (a 4.5 inch Celestron) for Christmas at an early age. I couldn’t wait to use it, however it was cloudy and snowy for nearly two weeks afterward! Ah, the good times. These days I still use the same scope along with 7×35 and 7×50 binoculars. Combined they provide for reliable observing both within and outside our solar system. Below are some of my favorite sites to say learn about upcoming celestial events and the objects that will be appearing in the night sky.
